Ministry of Justice: call for evidence

Mandy and two of our trustees were honoured to meet Neil Barker and Oliver Lendrum at The Ministry of Justice as part of the ‘call for evidence‘ into: Assessing risk of harm to children and parents in private law cases. Acts Fast brought the voices of children and parents from Dorset to inform the panel, along with support from Martyn Underhill Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner.

We were joined by MOSAC (Mothers Of Sexually Abused Children) who carry out similar work to Acts Fast in London. Also present was The Birchall trust based in Cumbria, we all are passionate about fighting for the child’s voice to be heard. We are extremely grateful to The Survivors Trust for organising this meeting and working together to bring the attention to this issue, that it rightly deserves.
